From the studio that brought you "Shrek," "Madagascar" and "Kung Fu Panda"comes "HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON." Set in the mythical world of burly Vikings and wild dragons, and based on the book by Cressida Cowell, the action comedy tells the story of Hiccup, a Viking teenager who doesn’t exactly fit in with his tribe’s longstanding tradition of heroic dragon slayers. Hiccup’s world is turned upside down when he encounters a dragon that challenges him and his fellow Vikings to see the world from an entirely different point of view.
Our Official StarFest Videographer, Phil Wortham, put together this great little teaser video for the convention from some footage he shot last year. It is giving me goosebumps just thinking about the show!
We have been processing memberships and emailing them out to people this week. We are doing a postcard mailing for the show and they should arrive at your doorstep next week. The flyers and posters are set to arrive at the ticket outlets (hopefully) in time for this weekend. The tickets should be going on sale at King Soopers soon.
Just so you know, Summer Glau told her agent that she only wanted to attend one science fiction convention this year… StarFest is that one convention.

Denver Haunted Houses - Much of the year, we are building haunted houses in Denver. It's quite a passion for us. Building and running haunted houses is great! We get to tell everyone we meet that we scare people for a living. Like most jobs, there is a lot more to it than just saying boo. Halloween and haunted house business in general, is about creating entertainment and building a safe event for people looking for fun. That's the real blood and guts of creating a good haunted house.
In case you didn't know it, Denver Metro area is a real hotbed of haunted houses. Websites that list the Denver haunted attractions are Scared.com, Hauntedhouses.com, and Hauntedratings.com. All three have lots of detailed information about the various haunts and provide discount coupons. Of course, we recommend you visit our individual haunted house websites. They are: The 13th Door, The 25th Hour, Curse of Slaughterhouse Gulch, and The Butcher.
