Action Comics Annual #1

"...Batman is also exactly what he should be; a dark vigilante, a creature of the night, who, appropriately enough, seems not the least bit out of place hunting vampires." - Mark Allen

Alan Moore's Writing For Comics Part 1

"Conflicting opinions are the stuff of style; without them, everyone would write exactly the same way. If you should choose to write exactly as does Moore after reading his essay, you will have missed his point completely." - Michael Vance

Highly paid for his work, he expects to earn eight figures for his latest three-year project, but upon finishing the work, instead of a big paycheck, he is given an envelope full of random objects and told that he has agreed to forfeit all payment. With his memory erased per his contract, Jennings has no defense, until he discovers that the objects are clues to his past. Now, with the help of Rachel, the woman he has worked with and loved for the last three years, Jennings is in a race against time to put the pieces of his past together... before his previous employers have him killed.

Return of the King News
Jackson has plans for more...
Peter Jackson likes the extended version DVD's of Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers so much that he's already talking about the scenes he'd like to add to the DVD version of The Return of the King. In a report from Video Store Magazine, Jackson talks about a few scenes left out of ROTK that will probably return in an extended version.

The movie currently runs about 3.5 hours and Jackson relates in the article that there is over an hour of additional scenes that could make it to the DVD. I'm not sure that many people will have the fortitude to sit still for the whole thing. Don't get me wrong, the movie is fantastic, but it is too long. Any movie over 2.5 hours without an intermission can be torture, especially when you get the large drink at the concession stand. I heard a story on the radio praising Jackson for saving New Line Pictures with this trilogy. After what should have been the end of the movie - when the King is crowned - I wondered who was going to save my bladder.
