28 Weeks Later Challenge
April 18
Hot Fuzz Screening Thursday, April 19 - 7:00pm Colorado Center - I-25 & Colorado Blvd
Nicholas Angel is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He's so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel's superiors send him to a place where his talents won't be quite so embarrassing - the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford.
Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman. The son of amiable Police Chief Frank Butterman, Danny is a huge action movie fan and believes his new big-city partner might just be a real-life "bad boy," and his chance to experience the life of gunfights and car chases he so longs for. Angel is quick to dismiss this as childish fantasy and Danny's puppy-like enthusiasm only adds to Angel's growing frustration. However, as a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny's dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality. It's time for these small-town cops to break out some big-city justice.
This film has been rated R. To get tickets, click here.
28 Weeks Later Challenge

28 WEEKS LATER Atrium Balcony Challenge
Are you ready for Starfest? It starts this Friday! For those of you staying at the hotel for the convention - we've cooked up another reason to decorate your balcony (if you are lucky enough to get a room in the Atrium). All you have to do is add the Number 28 to your design and you'll be eligible to win a 28 Weeks Later prize package. You can visit the movie's website for ideas.
Here are the complete rules for the contest:
1. Your display should be ‘free standing’ or secured to the railing only (masking tape can be used to secure the display -no duct tape, nails, screws, push pins, tacks, etc.). 2. The display cannot hang lower than the end of your balcony. It cannot be connected to adjoining balconies (this is for safety reasons as we don’t want anyone climbing out over the railing and falling to their death). 3. You can’t paint the railing, ceiling, floor, or walls of the balcony area. No magic markers, glitter pens, or any kind of marker that would damage the decor. Remember it is to be left as you found it. 4. The displays must be ‘family-friendly”. When in doubt, ask. Any display deemed inappropriate will be taken down. Remember this is supposed to be fun! 5. Get your entry number at the Convention Information table from Sharon. 6. Make your entry original, creative, and fun. Your fellow convention attendees will judge you on Saturday.
The winners will be announced right before the Showcase on Saturday night in the Main Events Room.
There will be prizes awarded in two categories: Best Overall Design and Best Incorporation of the Number 28. A special prize-package, put together by Fox Atomic Films, will be awarded to the winners of the later.

Jonathan Tiersten appearing at Horrorfest
April 4
Jonathan Tiersten Sleepaway Camp actor and Denver musician at Horrorfest
Jonathan started acting in the film Sleepaway Camp and then went to NYU to study acting. In the early nineties he decided to give up acting to start a music career. That's when he moved to Colorado and purchased a bar. He then began touring as a musician for a while and formed the band Ten Tiers. In his solo performances he has been described as one of the best singer songwriters on the Front Range.
He resently reprised his role as Ricky Thomas in the just completed film Sleepaway Camp: The Return - working with Isaac Hayes, Vincent Pastore and Felissa Rose - his best friend.
He has gotten drunk with Robert HIltzik and manages an up and coming metal band named Adam's Ruin who are looking to get signed soon by Road Runner Records - who incidentally is the same label that produces CKY (who's featured in the new Sleepaway Camp movie).

Bobby Field Zombie Farm actor added to Horrorfest lineup
Bobby began his acting career in San Diego where he spent two years playing lead roles in numerous theater productions. Once the opportunity arose to star in the feature film Godmoney, Bobby made his move to Los Angeles.
Over the next three years, Bobby continued to act in various film and television projects. He then decided he wanted to contribute more to the film making process. He teamed up with Motrya Tomycz and collaborated on a handful of short films in which he co-wrote, produced and starred in.
In 2005 he was inspired by the success of his short films and decided to write a feature length screenplay entitled, Guy in Row Five. After completing the script, Bobby joined forces with directors Phil Thurman and Jonathon E. Stewart. Once they diligently gathered the necessary resources needed to make the film, they assembled a cast and crew that exceeded all of their expectations. Also in 2005 he acted in the dramatic short Doing Time.
Mr. Field is attending Horrorfest for the World Premiere Screening of Zombie Farm on Saturday Night. He can also be seen in the Horrorfest Extra Room at 11am signing autographs and talking about making the film with other members of the movie's cast and production staff.
