Twas the night before screening, and all through the house.
Not creature was stirring, except for my mouse.
My answers were done to the quiz with great care
In hopes that the eMail soon would be there.
My husband was nestled all snug in our bed
With visions of Gyllenhaal running through his head.
And hand on my mouse, and cat on my lap
I settled down without even a nap.
When suddenly outside there arose such a clatter
I sprang from the chair to see what was the matter!
Away to the window I ran like a flash
Looked through the blinds and it made my breath catch.
The moon seemed to give off an unearthly glow
And illuminated the many figures below.
Twas Batman and Rachel and Alfred and Fox!
The Joker and Scarecrow and Two-Face running amok!
And then in a twinkling I heard on the roof
The batpod running idly, cool and aloof.
Tensions, they rose and the faces, they shadowed.
The bad guys they ran, the good guys, they followed!
A claw on my shoulder, a tap on my back
I awoke from my reverie, my cat, she attacked.
Not a creature is now stirring except me in my house.
Not a item was moving except my eyes and my mouse.
My finger it clicks, my mail it fetches
Tickets to batman? And the mail refreshes.
-----
Edit, okay one with pictures - yes, I actually do refresh my mail a lot in sad and pitiful hopes that something cool shall be awaiting me!
