Post your questions here if you are confused about Starfest Ticketing.

Not confused, just curious about when we should expect them in the mail. Thanks.

We aren't mailing physical tickets this year. We are trying to go high-tech and will be sending all the tickets via email. All the general admission and VIP tickets have been emailed. We are currently working on entering all the Platinum orders from last year and then we'll be able to email the tickets to all the Platinum Members. There are also a handful of people that do not have email or printers and we are processing them by hand. If you have not gotten your tickets (and don't have a Platinum Membership) by all means, contact us right away at starland@starland.com. There will be a second set of emails going out to everyone with reserved seats to allow you to print out your reserved seating badge for your lanyard. The whole goal here is to streamline the registration process and have everything processed live at the show. When you bring in your bar coded ticket, we will scan it to confirm that the ticket is valid and has not been used. Then we will hand you your convention wristbands. You will get one wristband for each day of the convention. Yep, that's right, we have retired the convention ribbons. It was just becoming too difficult to spot valid ribbons when they could be pinned just about anywhere and when people started wearing ones from past conventions - it really got confusing. Now our security people will only have to look for one color band on one of two arms (assuming you have two) for each day of the show. You will be issued a different colored wristband to wear each day of the convention - they are made of durable Tyvek and are actually quite snazzy.

One note on this.... my tickets were emailed but were caught by my SPAM filter! If you have placed your order and are expecting an email it may be wise to turn off or monitor your SPAM filter to be sure they don't get deleted by mistake!

Just for clarification, every year I go to King Soopers to purchase my tickets, is the procedure still going to be the same? I bring the ticket Kings gave me and you exchange that for the nifty wristband instead of the ribbon? I just want to make sure that the wristband is the only change.

The tickets from all of our outlets will work like they always have. You bring them in and exchange them for wristbands.
The barcode ticket issues only apply to tickets purchased online from Starland.com.

Have you sent out the reserve seating emails yet? And what about the Platinum tickets? Just making sure I didn't miss the email. Thanks

Convention day and I still don't have my ticket, wasn't in my e-mail this morning. Ordered my ticket at the start of April even. Used my Credit Card, guess I should no longer trust using them anymore. Chris Tom Cimafranca

Just come down to the convention. We have ways of looking you up and making sure everything works out just fine.

Hello. Job well done this year, but is there any way you can open that ticket line sooner to eliminate a mad rush on Friday. Maybe create one line for pickup and another for purchase. Opening it sooner would allow people to pick up there bag and pass as they arrive. I stood in line for an hour before I made it to the front to pick up my bag, wrist bands and platinum pass. By the way I liked the wrist bands.
