Dean Devlin
This actor/writer/producer is a multiple-threat to anyone's attempt to cut-down on their science fiction diet. As a producer, he's served us the genre treats Stargate, Independence Day, The Visitor, and Godzilla. Now he's returning to Denver to show us he's added a new movie to the menu - Eight Legged Freaks. Dean teamed-up with Starfest's own, Kari Wuhrer (Sliders) and Terry Erdmann (part of the Dave, Jeff & Terry Starfest Team) on this horror-comedy that will delight our palates this summer. The movie is about toxic waste turning a bunch of exotic spiders into man-eating terrors.

Look for lots of laughs and excitement at the Eight Legged Freaks presentation on Saturday. Dean will share the stage with Rick Overton and some incredible footage and stories from the making of the movie.
