Tobey Maguire
Mr. Maguire will be appearing on the Starfest Main Events stage as part of the special Spider-Man presentation at Starfest 2002. Tobey, who stars in the movie as Peter Parker/Spider-Man has assembled an impressive body of work in his young career. While he is best-known for his dramatic and comedy work, he did appear in three movies that could be considered science fiction/fantasy: Cats and Dogs (voice), Pleasantville and Revenge of the Red Baron. His dramatic work includes: Wonder Boys, Ride With the Devil, The Cider House Rules, Deconstructing Harry, The Ice Storm, This Boy's Life and Duke of Groove. Mr. Maguire will be appearing live on stage on Saturday, April 20th.
 
Billy Dee WilliamsBilly Dee Williams
Mr. Williams grew up in Harlem and developed his talents performing and painting from an early age. Acting in TV and film roles since 1959, his most notable performances were in: Brian's Song (for which he received an Emmy nomination in 1971), Lady Sings the Blues (with Diana Ross in 1972), and as Han's friend Lando Calrissian in The Empire Strikes Back (1980). He reprised that part three years later in Return of the Jedi (1983). Also in the sci-fi genre, he played district attorney Harvey Dent in the film Batman (1989). Most recently he appeared in The Ladies' Man (2001) and Undercover Brother (2002).

Mr. Williams is also an accomplished painter. He began drawing at an early age and won scholarships to the National Academy of Fine Arts and Design in New York. Since 1991, he has had numerous solo art exhibitions across America, and has donated paintings to the National Portrait Gallery in Washington, DC and The Schomburg Museum in New York.

Billy Dee Williams will be at Starfest 2002 both Saturday and Sunday. He is scheduled to appear onstage on Sunday, April 21, 2002.
