Membership Options - Prices - Membership Tickets - Autograph Tickets - Duck Variations Play Tickets - Richard Biggs' Acting Seminar - Dealer's Tables
The Conventions are for everyone. We have ticket options that allow you to get involved a little or a lot. For some people, the convention is an immersive experience. That's why we call it a Weekend of Science Fiction Overload. But we realize, that for some, it's just a chance to check-out what this science fiction convention thing is all about. That is why we offer so many kinds of memberships.| Friday Only - Friday is our warm-up day. Programming starts at about 6pm and continues until midnight. You'll be able to socialize late into the night, view some great videos and buy collectibles. We've expanded our Fridays a little over the last few years and some of our guests will be signing autographs, but don't expect to see our largest presentations until Saturday. | |
| Saturday - Saturday is the biggest day of the convention. The show starts at about 8AM and continues until Midnight. Unfortunately, it isn't enough time to do everything. That's because many events run simultaneously and you're must pick and choose from the selection. It's kind of like a Vegas buffet, it all looks great, but you can only eat so much! | |
| Saturday VIP - Lines are, unfortunately, part of the Saturday routine. When you get a VIP membership, you cut the amount of time you spend in those lines. VIP Members get a special express line at Registration, a special lanyard for your membership pass, and a Reserved Seat in the Main Events Room. Going VIP lets you say goodbye to seat camping for your favorite guests! | |
| Sunday - Check to see which guests are scheduled for Sunday, if the people that you want to see are appearing that day, Sunday might be just what you're looking for. The atmosphere is usually a little more relaxed on Sunday and the autograph lines are usually shorter. | |
| Sunday VIP - Just like the Saturday VIP, you'll experience less line waiting and seat camping with your own Reserved Seat in the Main Events Room and a special lanyard for your membership pass. Since there are also less VIP seats sold on Sunday, you usually get a better Reserved Seat! | |
| Weekend VIP - If you want to experience the Weekend of Science Fiction Overload to its fullest, this is the Membership for you! All the perks of the Saturday and Sunday VIP tickets - PLUS - a much better reserved seat. In the Main Events Room, we reserve the front center section for Weekend Reserved Seating. If you want to take pictures and have great seats - this is your best bet, next to a Platinum Membership that is. | |
| Platinum VIP - All the perks of a Weekend VIP membership and even more! Perhaps the #1 reason people get Platinum memberships is the special autograph privileges that ONLY a Platinum membership offers. You'll receive a special convention lanyard that identifies you as a Platinum Member. At the autograph tables, there is a special Platinum Member line for each of the guests that alternates with the General Admission line to speed you through with a small or non-existent waiting time. PLUS you get to select, based on your seniority, your reserved seats for the next convention. The very best seats in our Main Events Room are reserved for Platinum Membership holders. Note: Platinum membership does not include any autograph fees that guests may be charging, but it does speed-up your access to the guests. |
VIP Seating Notes: VIP Seating is for the Guest Speakers and Specific Reserved Seating events in the Main Events room. Those events are noted on the convention schedule. Seating in the Main Events Room is similar to a concert venue, seats closest to the stage are for reserved seats and the seats on the sides and in the back are for General Admission Tickets. Having a VIP Membership allows you to come and go throughout the day and know that your assigned seat will be waiting for you when you come back.
You need to be in your reserved seat 10 minutes prior to the reserved seating events you want to attend. Five minutes prior to an event, the empty reserved seats are opened to General Admission Members. We want to make sure that the seats closest to the front are full before our guests come on stage. All we want them to see is room full of happy people anxious to see them.

Introduction to Acting Seminar
We
are really excited to be able to present a special seminar at Starfest
taught by Richard Biggs - a working actor. This class will be taught
in two, two-hour sessions on Saturday and Sunday at the convention.
Anyone with an interest in acting is encouraged to sign-up for the
class.
The material and instruction covers Improvisation, Definition of Character, Objectives & Scene Breakdowns, The Business of Acting and Q&A. It is designed as an interactive class. The class fee is $39.00 per person and includes both sessions and instructional materials. The seminars will take place in the morning on Saturday and Sunday, so that they will not interfere with guest speakers appearing on our Main Events stage.
Duck Variations takes place in a park, were two elderly friends meet on a bench to discuss ducks, life and the value of company. The play evolves and envelops the audience in 14 short scenes that portray the passage of time and serve to illuminate the themes that gel in the conversations the two men share. Duck Variations is full of touching and insightful scenes of sparkling comedy. Mamet is renown as a master of interaction and popular speech. The opportunity of attending this engaging and funny performance - by these two great actors - promises to be a highlight of Starfest 2003. Preferred Seating Play Tickets $20.00ea Sales/Exhibitor tables are nearly sold-out for Starfest 2003. Space is very limited, please call us at the number below to find out about availability.
