Returning to Starfest for his second year, our own Denver resident-actor is willing and anxious to talk about working in film and his personal experiences. Matt is a busy guy, already appearing in the films: The Chester Story, Cabin Fever, Black Knight, and The Patriot. On TV he's appeared on The Tonight Show, The Crook & Chase Show, and FOX & Friends.

He has been training in martial arts over 12 years and has a 4th Dan Black Belt in TAI Karate. Matt has won accolades for teaching other youngsters in self defense and is famous as a competitor, he's an 11 Time World Sport Karate Champion, 8 Time National Amateur Champion, 12 Time Tournament Grand Champion, 1999 Ranked #1 in NASKA World & National Ranking, and was the 1997 Ranked #1 Junior Martial Artist in the USA by SKI/NBL. The producer of Cabin Fever was so impressed with Matt's martial arts skills, he included a specially filmed feature on Matt in the movie's DVD. This is one kid you wouldn't want to pick a fight with.
