Dean Haglund
AKA "Langly" from The Lone Gunmen and The X-Files
For nine seasons, he played the most recognizable of the of the computer geeks known as "The Lone Gunmen" on the hit FOX series The X-Files. The popularity of the trio led to his starring role in the spin-off series The Lone Gunmen.

Dean has been successful with his amazing career in film and television. His television credits include roles in the series VIP Pamela Anderson, Home Improvement, The Commish, Sliders, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, the animated series Robocop and The Big Guy. His feature film credits include The X-Files: Fight the Future, Radio Free Steve, Design of Darkness, Rice Girl and the animated feature film Tom Sawyer.

But wait, this guy doesn't just do acting! He is also an inventor. One day, while working on his notebook computer, he discovered that a cold gel pack he was using to ice his knee speeded up his computer. After a bit of diligent research into cutting edge materials that could prevent condensation, he formed his company Geek Chic to market his new invention - The Chill Pak.

A long-time comedy improviser, Dean got his start with the likes of Ryan Stiles and Colin Mockery (Whose Line is it Anyway?) in the internationally award winning Vancouver TheatreSports League. He now regularly performs in Los Angeles with The Groundlings and Second City. He has performed in and hosted at Montreal's world famous Just for Laughs festival and has hosted the Entertainment Media Awards, California Independent Film Festival, and Armenian Independent Film Festival. He writes and performs his own material for corporate gigs and his home comedy club is the world famous The Improv in Los Angeles.

Dean is working with Gary Jones of Stargate to present (at Starfest) two special performances titled: The Dean and Gary Show. They will be improvisational romps designed to tickle every sci-fi fan's funny bone. In them they portray Kirk and Spock - is sort of like the original odd couple in Space.

You are encouraged to get your tickets early, seating is based on your ticket number for these performances. Dean is extremely accessible and is very eager to catch-up with everyone he met at last year's show. His Q&A session and autograph schedule and photo sessions.
