Modern Sci-Fi and the Study of UFOs: Truth in Fiction, or Fiction in Truth?
In this discussion we will cover a bit of the top-grossing and best-known Sci-Fi entertainment and look at its accuracy as compared to the study of UFOs. Some of these writers, directors and producers have been UFO researchers themselves and have portrayed their findings on the silver screen. In fact, listing all of the entertainers and business people in Sci-Fi that are or were involved in UFO research would take well over an hour by itself. This begs the question, is it all truth in fiction, or often a little bit of fiction sprinkled over the truth? The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is the largest civilian UFO research organization and has been actively researching this phenomenon since 1969. Read more about us at www.MUFON.com.
