Events in the Atrium
On Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm come and visit with the Avistrum Academy staff in the Atrium. Learn more about the people who make the "magic" happen. They will be displaying some of the props used in their theatrical productions, along with descriptions as to how they fit into their storylines.

Events in the Avistrum room
On Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm you can come celebrate Lady Viola Fey's Death Day and make a Death Day Card for the Enigmus House Ghost and enjoy some spooky desserts! The spectral lady will be making appearances from time to time. You may just catch a glimpse of her!
On Saturday from 10am-6pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm you can Star In A Quidditch Photo! Did you ever picture yourself soaring on a racing broom just like Potter? Bring your camera and come to the Quidditch Photo Area next to the Avistrum Room and do just that.
Take a seat on our broom and reach for the Golden Snitch as that perfect photo is snapped!
From 10am-5pm on Saturday and 10am-3pm on Sunday, you'll be able to play in the Quidditch Tournament on the Playstation 2. Quidditch players of all ages can come and participate in this tournament of the sport of Wizards! Record your total onto our scoreboard. Each day we will be crowning a Starfest Quidditch Champion!
For rules and to register for the tournament, ask for the Avistrum Quidditch Coach, Vittoria d' Medici.
From 11am-12pm both Saturday and Sunday we'll be teaching a class titled: Transfiguration: Transforming Rocks Into Rats. Join this fascinating class with the Head of Parador House and Transfiguration Professor, Polonius Aberfoyle! His mastery of this extraordinarily difficult subject is second to none. A famous Duel Champion and former Quidditch star, a surprisingly little-known fact about Aberfoyle is that he is registered with the Department of Wizardry as an Animagus who can change into a falcon. He is one of the few wizards to accomplish this monumental achievement in recent memory.
An unconfirmed report is that he is also one of the elusive Dark Hunters.
Do not miss this opportunity to learn from Professor Aberfoyle as he shares his intricate knowledge to budding minds of witches and wizards of all ages!

At 1pm on both Saturday and Sunday you can join the class: Defense Against The Dark Arts: Pensieve Creation. Where you will lLearn how to battle the forces of darkness with the Headmaster of Avistrum, Professor Clark Dowling! Marked a 'vigilante' by the government, his appointment to Headmaster has been nothing short of controversial. Nevertheless with his list of Dark Wizard arrests and retrievals of rare artifacts, his ability to fight the Dark Arts is unquestioned.
At the core of Professor Dowling's methods is the use of the combination of ancient Egyptian and Celtic magic. In this class, he will teach how to use this odd combination of magic to create a Pensieve!
