Jed Rowen is ecstatic to return as an official guest of the Starfest Convention for the second year in a row. In last year’s Horrorfest, Jed was showcased in the crowd-favorite feature Zombie Farm. This year, Jed is proud to be starring in the 2008 Horrorfest World Premiere Screening of Attitude for Destruction. Jed has slowly but surely become a fixture in the independent horror film community. His films have screened at dozens of film festivals and conventions around the country and can also be found in many retail stores. He has headlined with Reggie Bannister in the upcoming Sawblade, and he had a role in The Boneyard Collection with Ken Foree and Robert Loggia. Rue Morgue magazine has taken notice, stating Jed “…gives the word ‘creepy’ a whole new meaning.” Jed has also had parts in independent dramas, most recently with Dee Wallace-Stone in BeautySleep Symphony; most not-so-recently with Maggie Cheung in Sausalito; and a supporting role in Ford Austin’s poignant art-house film, Tiny Dancer, which screened at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Jed also just finished shooting the dramatic feature '17' with David Carradine this past month in Los Angeles. Jed takes his hat off to the amazing cast of Attitude for Destruction; the unbelievable efforts and resourcefulness of producer Dave Sterling; and, of course, the superb direction of Ford Austin. Jed, along with many other members of the Attitude for Distruction cast, creators and crew will be attending Horrorfest and be available to talk to you about film, horror and fun.
