The Loud Idiot crew is coming to Denver to host HorrorFest. It’s going to be wild and crazy, just like everything they do.
"Longshot" Ken Smith has been a producer and host of The Loud Idiots Radio Show on the NPN Network since its inception in 2006. Drawing from his theatre, film, and comic book roots, he has found the perfect niche working behind a microphone along with some of the best on air talent in the business. His dry wit and general knowledge of the media has helped solidify ground-breaking interviews and relationships with some of the greatest personalities in the industry.
The Taffeta Darling is a regular contributer on the Loud Idiots Radio Show . She has taken her popular blog, Curves and Comics , and manifested it into her own segment on the show which she reviews games, comics and other pop culture media references.
The Taffeta Darling has been an original persona in the Dallas media community over the past few years. Starting off as a pinup model and now living her dream as a cosplay enthusiast, she feels lucky enough to work various conventions in support of her favorite artists. She was nominated and won Sam Johnson’s coveted Fan Babe of the Year for 2010, and was recently nominated as "Hot Rods and Heels" Texas’ Pin-Up Model of the Year for 2011.
Willing to travel cities near and far in hopes of finding the next best thing, Taffeta has worked with artists from Troublemaker Studios, and was recently seen on Attack of the Show on the G4 Network, but this will be her first time making an official appearance at HorrorFest, and as she says "Is freaking excited!"
"Big Poppa" Pete Monte has been the host and technical director for The Loud Idiots Radio Show on the NPN Network since its inception in 2006. A graduate of the University of Maryland and Connecticut School of Broadcasting, BPP has an extensive background in theatre and film.
While he may not always be the most talkative of the Idiots, BPP has displayed an almost encyclopedic knowledge of the trivial and mundane, and earned a reputation as the show’s resident know-it-all.
This is The Loud Idiot’s first trip to Horrorfest and they are eager to meet all their fans and deliver some incredible new material.
