Room reservations are now available at both the Marriott and Hilton
Starfest is an all-weekend event. Since we have activities scheduled pretty-much around the clock, you'll really appreciate having a room at the convention so you can occationally take a breather and then get right back into the action. It helps to have a place to store all the stuff you'll pick up at the show and not have to lug it around.
There is nothing like having a hotel room located in the center of the action!
The discounted convention rate at the Marriott DTC (StarFest & HorrorFest) is $99.00 for one to four people in a room. Rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn (ComicFest) are $79 for one to two people and $85 for rooms sleeping three to four people. Both hotels also have discounted suites and executive rooms available for the convention.

Contact the hotels directly to reserve your rooms. Just be sure to mention you are coming for Starfest or ComicFest or you may not get the discounted convention rate and end up paying too much.

Iron Man 2 Balcony Challenge
Lots of people like to get rooms in the Atrium at the Marriott so they can decorate their balconies. This year's Balcony challenge is sponsored by the movie Iron Man 2. The winner of the Iron Man division will recieve a rocking movie prize package. All contestants participating will recieve prizes for their effort. There will also be a prize package for the winner of the "Pick-Your-Own" theme division.
If you'd like to participate in the Balcony Challenge, we recommend that you book your room early and check in to the Marriott as soon as you can. The rooms in the Atrium of the Marriott go fast. The only way to be absolutely guaranteed an Atrium room is if you check in on Thursday. There are quite a few people that have been starting the convention weekend a day early and there are often activities listed on our Message Board for people coming to the convention on Thursday night.
Getting ThereMarriott DTC 4900 South Syracuse, Denver, CO 80237 Hilton Garden Inn DTC 7675 East Union Ave., Denver, CO 80237 Both hotels are located at the corner of Syracuse and Union in the Denver Tech Center. When coming by car, exit Belleview and turn left onto Syracuse. Both hotels are next to I-25 at S. Union St. It is just a short walk across the Union St. bridge from the S. Union Light Rail Station by train. If you take the train to the show, you don't even have to worry about parking your car for the weekend.
