86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companions, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in JACKASS PRESENTS:  BAD GRANDPA. This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicholl) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera.

Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term childrearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens.

Real people in unreal situations, making for one really messed up comedy.

Littleton Zombie Crawl

Littleton Zombie Crawl

Crawl & Eat

Tear up some clothing, pour on some blood and join the professional talent from many of the Denver Area Haunted Houses for the 2013 Littleton Zombie Sidewalk Crawl & Pig Roast.

Pretty ZombieZombies big and small are instructed to assemble at the Woodlawn Shopping Center (1500 West Littleton Boulevard #207 Littleton, CO 80120) after 11:00am to touch up your decrepidness in preparation for the march through Historic Downtown Littleton starting at Noon.

Participants will end their crawl a few minutes later at the Reinke Bros. Haunted Mansion (5663 S Prince Street Littleton CO 80120) where all those in costume will be treated to a feast of roasted pig to satiate their thurst for flesh and blood.

The parade will be led by a New Orleans Style Funeral Jazz Band and start West down Littleton Blvd to Main and then S Rapp St. At the half-way point the crowd will smell cooking Pig Flesh and turn South to W Alamo Ave. and then proceed East to S Prince St. As the smell of swine grows stronger, the hoard will turn North and with renewed vigor stumble their way into the The Haunted Mansion parking lot. The entire length of the crawl is about 1.2 miles.

Food, Prizes, and photo opportunities will reward all those who kick off the cobwebs and raise from their coffins for the event.

Everyone is welcome, living or dead! There are lots of great photo opportunities along the parade route for those wishing to encourage the undead or provide them with brains. For more information call 720.261.0570.

The producers of Star Trek: Of Gods and Men have announced that they are currently looking for investors for their next movie, Star Trek Renegades. They are using Kickstarter for the campaign and hope to be able to produce a pilot to sell to CBS for a new weekly episodic Star Trek show.

They have already signed on a lot of Trek veterans and the pilot will be directed by Tim Russ (Voyager). Right now they are looking for some help, and like all Kickstarter programs, there are incentives for you as well. We suggest you head on over to their Kickstarter Campaign and check it out!

Nan Desu Kan Starts Tomorrow!

Nan Desu KanNan Desu Kan (a Japanese pun translating loosely to ‘what is it?’) began its life in 1997 at the Tivoli Student Union as a small, fan-run convention with just 200 or so attendees. These days, several hotels and more than a decade later, NDK is still a fan-run convention. And with a total weekend attendance of more than 21,000 (over 7,000 people per day), it’s now the largest convention in Colorado and 14 surrounding states (excluding Texas), as well as one of the top ten largest anime conventions in the country.

Every year, we invite a number of industry guests from North America and Japan to come to NDK, including voice actors, directors, art directors, and others. Our guests put on panels, participate as judges in our contests, and hold autograph sessions throughout the weekend. They’ve even been known to hang out with attendees from time to time. And time after time, we hear how much our guests love NDK and our attendees because they keep asking us if they can come back!
