This summer, stay out of school!

From Jason Blum/ Blumhouse, the producer of "Paranormal Activity" and "Insidious," THE GALLOWS is a fun and frightening urban legend horror film about Beatrice High, a haunted school where creepy things keep happening and no one is sure who or what is causing them.

Made outside the Hollywood system on a shoe-string budget, THE GALLOWS was written and directed by Chris Lofing and Travis Cluff. The film was shot entirely in their hometown of Fresno, CA, and it uses a found footage-style that will have audiences yelling "Don’t go in there!" before they realize that there’s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide at Beatrice High.

The film stars newcomers Cassidy Gifford, Pfeifer Brown, Ryan Shoos, and Reese Mishler.
